What qualifications do I need to join Leafe’s as a disability support worker?

To work with us, you'll need a Certificate II in Individual Support, an NDIS Worker Check, a Working with Children Check, a Police Clearance, and a current First Aid certificate. These qualifications ensure we provide the highest level of support to our participants and create a safe, productive environment for everyone.

What if I don’t have much experience?

That’s not a problem! We offer on-the-job training to help you build the skills you need. As long as you’re comfortable with computers, have the required qualifications, and bring a supportive attitude, we’re ready to help you succeed.

What type of role is this?

This role focuses on supporting participants as they gain practical job skills and work experience. You'll assist them with daily tasks, offer guidance on projects, and help them navigate real-world challenges in employment settings. By providing encouragement and one-on-one support, you’ll play a key role in building their confidence and workplace readiness. It’s a dynamic, hands-on position that’s perfect for those who enjoy empowering others and creating real opportunities for growth.

How will I be supported in my role?

At Leafe’s, we believe in fostering growth, not just for our participants but for our team as well. You’ll receive ongoing support, training, and resources to help you succeed. Our collaborative environment ensures that you’re never alone—there’s always someone to help guide you or answer questions.
